The Truman show, Peter Weir | Movie review
vendredi 19 octobre 2018
Hi guys!
I've recently watch the movie The Truman show (as a lot of people are talking about it) (it is on Netflix, if you wonder) and I really had a crush for this movie. So here is my review!
My best breakfast for before school
lundi 24 septembre 2018
Hi guys!
Since I began school, I always had issues to find the perfect balance for my breakfasts (I'm not gonna lie, it is mainly because I did not eat fruits). But I have recently discovered my perfect breakfast, the one which enables me not to be hungry until 12 am and to feel full of energy all day long (this is really important to me since I recently started a hard university program which takes me almost all my day time).
Sooo I have two types of breakfast before school, it depends of the situation.
- My almost everyday breakfast:
I take a fruit (sometimes I put Nutella or chocolate with it, when I don't feel like eating fruits), I ad a cup of green tea (which has a lot of benefits for the body, I am probably going to write an article about it, so stay tuned if you want to know more about the benefits of green tea ;), I also eat a bowl of muesli with yoghurt or milk, and a glass of orange juice.
I really like this breakfast because it ends to wake me up and when I arrive to school I am not worried about when I'm going to eat, or when I am going to sleep again : I feel fully waken up.
- BUT I also have a less healthy alternative, for the times I hung out the night before (which doesn't happen frequently, but still):
I take 2 or 3 slices of brioche with Nutella (or a more healthy and ecological alternative Nocciolata, which does not contain palm oil), with a big glass of still water and an apple (which has basically the same waking up effect as coffee).
Even when I don't feel like eating, this stays in my stomach and enables me to follow my morning courses until I feel more awake in the afternoon. (Disclaimer : I do not say this is a miracle breakfast, but it enables me at least to stay awake and to follow the course)

July's favorites | 2018
lundi 20 août 2018

Hi guys!
I'm kind of late for this favorite of the month, but like it is said, better late than never! So here are my july's favorites:
- Those heals: I was looking for heels for a wedding, and I didn't have time to order them online. I looked in a lot of shoe shops, even the expensive ones, but I did not found what I wanted. Then I ran into this pair in Pull and Bear, and it was the perfect pair. (The link is for the same pair in black, I couldn't find it in light pink) https://www.pullandbear.com/fr/femme/chaussures/sandales-%C3%A0-talon/sandale-noire-talon-boucle-c1030134503p500975659.html?cS=040

- Maybelline waterproof GREAT LASH: it made its proofs for a long time https://www.maybelline.fr/maquillage-des-yeux/mascara/mascara-longueur-great-lash-waterproof

- The sound "Red flag day" by U2: it gives me motivation vibes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrazXC51ZeU
- Nyx butter gloss (shade 11 tres leche, it's a sort of old pink) https://www.nyxcosmetics.fr/fr_FR/l%C3%A8vres/gloss/intense-butter-gloss/NYX_175.html

- My sunglasses: I've had those for 10 euros at Bijoux Brigitte (but I can't find the link)

- This water bottle: it is isotherme, really practical to keep liquids cold during summer https://www.natureetdecouvertes.com/outdoor/camping-bivouac/gourdes-termos/bouteille-isotherme-liberty-52145340
- The primark glowgetter palette (I don't have any link for this one neither)

- The book "Holding up the universe" by Jennifer Niven (I am probably going to review it, so stay tuned if you want to know more about this book) https://www.amazon.fr/Holding-Up-Universe-Jennifer-Niven/dp/0141357053

Amsterdam city review
vendredi 17 août 2018
Hi guys!
I just came back from a little two-days trip to Amsterdam and I have a couple of things to review.
The thing I prefere there were the thrift stores:
- The Episode company: their thrift stores were the best we found in town (really, I'm not joking): people were nice, and everything is line up by type of clothes and brands.
- I didn't visit plenty of other stores (I did not have the time to do it) but if you want other good adresses, I suggest you to check this link: https://awesomeamsterdam.com/vintage-clothing-shopping-amsterdam/

I also liked the Van Gogh Museum: if you have to go to one museum in Amsterdam, you should go there, you already know why. (But be carefull to take your tickets at least two days before the day you want to go there, because they are often sold out on the day).
We ate at a cute place called De Knijp: the waiter was really nice and it is perfect for a romantic dinner (count 20 euros for a plate).
If you have a trip to Amsterdam planned soon, I also suggest you to take a walk in the city, because houses are kind of peculiar, and it is different from all of the cities I have visited yet.
But a city review about Amsterdam wouldn't be complete if it doesn't mentionned the red district and the coffee shops.
- The red light district: as you certainly know it, it is the place where the prostitutes are concentrated. It is particular, but if you go there you should visit the condomerie, which is a place where they sell particular condoms.
- The coffee shops: I cannot really advice you about those as I don't smoke, but if you are looking for one I sugest you to check this website: https://www.smokersguide.com/coffeeshops.html
