Barcelona review | 5 places I liked

Hi!
Last week I had the chance to go to Barcelona for 4 days with some friends and we had a lot of fun. I liked this city a lot, especially the athmosphere in it: there are so much people from all nationalities, from all ages, it wasn't very tidy, but more like a happy mix of all types of people.

Of course we visited the touristic stuffs, like the Sagrada Familia and the Parc Güell. But we also went through the city, in back alley and I must admit, those little streets were cute.

So here are the five places I liked the most!

First, I retain two shops, both located in th Gothic Area, a really sweat place

1. A thrift shop named "Love Vintage"

The place is very tidy, and the girl there very nice. I liked the athmosphere.

2. "Holly's ice cream"

You can eat ice cream and cookies sandwiches there. It tasted so good.

3.The Hospital San Pau

I was favourably surprised by this place: all the colors, the houses, the materials: the set was really beautiful and made to match together.

4. Park Güell

The place was designed by Gaudi and you got a view on the whole city from there. If you go to Barcelona and can only visit on place, itt should be this one.

5. Museo Dali

It's not really located in Barcelona, but it's near the city. If you got time, go take a look, it is worth it.

FentyxPuma spring-summer 2018 collection

Hi!
I'm pretty sure you've heard about Rihanna's collaboration with Puma: Fenty x Puma. She presented the spring-summer 2018 collection at the New York Fashion Week and the collection was just amazing.

But first, let's talk about the show! It took place in a big dark room, with a pink sand mountain in the middle, where stuntmans on motocrosses were doing acrobatics. The models were walking around the montains.
Let's be honest, I loved it. I mean it could be debated, but she took the risk of doing it like this and it looked amazing.

Now we come on the main topic: the clothes. She choose to make a mix between motorbike clothes and beach clothes. That was audacious, it didn't match everytime, but for the assembly, it looked cool and the clothes would be amazing separate to style.

My top 3 favorite looks:

 


For the final, Rihanna came on a a motorbike. For me, this was the most amazing show of the fashion week.

Devil wears Prada

Okay, I know, everyone saw the movie. It's a classic. But today, I'm gonna talk about the book. Cause, if they made a movie, don't you think the book was terrific?

First, it's a big book: 360 pages. But relax, it's write so good you don't see them come. The langage is just right: you totaly identify Andrea, the main character. The story got just the good tempo to keep you on alert: Andrea tells you her story but she gives you just the right number of details.

It takes us right into the top of the fashion world: at the head of Runway, the number one of fashion periodics. Andrea got the chance of her life to achieve her dream when she got hired as assistant of Miranda Priestly, the redactor in chief of Runway. Everyone keep telling her that millions of girls would dream to be at her place, but in reality, her job is just harassing. She got good and expensive clothes, but she has to work twelve hours a day for a tyrannical boss. She has no time for a her boyfriend anymore or for her best friend, that is slowly turning into an alcoholic.

This book also give you a "right" vision of the fashion world: yeah, there are great success stories in this world, people you should take as inspiration. But like in every world before you get on the top you gotta work hard. And even if those people look good on paper, it doesn't mean they are "nice" people: they are most of the time full of hypocrisy. It made you reflect more about your dreams, about what you really want. I think that's the thing Lauren Weisberger is trying to tell us with this book.

Lauren Weisberger worked for Vogue, more precisely for Anna Wintour: it inspires her for this book. I felt while reading it that the story is like a mix of experience and fiction, in the most perfect way.

5 tips to feel better after a day of work

1. Make yourself some tea. British drink it every day, don't you think there is a reason?

2. Take a bath. And just relax.

4. Take a walk, or a run. This is gonna give you positive energy.

5. If even  know, there is something still on your mind, write it. Write everything. You can burn the paper or do wathever you want with it but write your thoughts.

Which lipstick should you wear today?

Hi everyone!
I'm gonna write to you today about something that is like super important to me: lipsticks. There are many reasons why a girl (or a boy, I'm not here to judge you) wears lipstick, but I discern two main reasons.

The first one is to be pretty, to feel pretty, for example when you have a rendez-vous or go party all night. This is the pretty and beautiful one.

The second occasion is, for me, when you need to feel powerful and strong. For example when you break up with someone, to help yourself to keep yourself together when you feel desperate, you need a lot of strength to feel independant and happy again. For this "occasion", I chose a dark red mat liquid lipstick: a mythic color that people usualy link with powerful woman. It's a psychological link.

But let's stop about all this chatting and come to the main topic: how to match your lips with your day and your mood!

First, you gotta choose how glossy you want to be:

• mat: for working days, it makes yourself serious, feels powerful
• normal: also for working days, but ads something happy to you
• glossy: for parties and event. No gloss at work please

Then comes the color

• Extra, like blue for special event 
• All the differents shades of red when you need to look classy and strong
• ,Nude for normal days
• Pink and the other shades of light and pastel purple for dates

Tommy x Gigi season 3!

Hi!
Today I'm gonna talk to you about a fashion show I found lit: the latest Tommy Hilfiger fall/winter edition (if you haven't seen it yet, click there : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRdfkIBUXmA&t=218s )
Okay, but first, can we talk about the place? That "circus" was just amazing. The dark atmosphere gave serious and class to the collection. It was really in tune with the new collection. This circle instead of just podiums was, to me, a great idea.

Now, the models: Gigi and Bella Hadid opened the show in a classy way: Gigi with an trench and Bella with a hoodi-dress. They dealt really great with that opening.

And, to finish, the collection!
It was a mix between classic Tommy and a little shade of modernity: they presented basics but also new stuffs, like Gigi's cropped.

September favorites!

Hi!
So here are my september's essentials: the things I like, that I "can't live without" for this month!

My first favorite is the Kat Von D liquid lipstick in shade Lolita

Why I like it? The shade is like totaly perfect ifyou wanna go out and wear something on your lips to be classy but don't want it to be to flashy. And the little plus: it is vegan!

2. My old school oversize jeans jacket
It match with a lot of stuffs and styles your outfits in a quite cool way. I usualy associe it with my old skool vans. A perfect match. I'm sorry, I don't have a link for this one, but you can shop yours in  old clothes shops.

3. The ikea "SINNLIG" candle
It helps me to concentrate while I'm working and gives a great smell to my room

4. Kiko Milano strengthener base coat

I had really bad nails and then I discovered this and now people tell me "Nice nails lady!". Just a joke. But I love this product.

A Harry Potter last year remake. In one book. With all type of romance. Couldn't let this book until I finished it.

It keeps a little bit of summer in your room.

7. And for the end... My penny board!
I live in a little town and to go from one place to another I like to use this one: it's not to big and roll on very good.
